What is an EB-5 Investor Visa?

An EB-5 investor visa a United States visa which provides a method of obtaining a green card for foreign nationals who invest money in the United States. The EB-5 investor visa may allow foreign investors in commercial enterprises that will benefit the economy and create or maintain at least 10 full-time jobs to become eligible for a green card. The EB-5 investor visa is also referred to as the Employment Based Fifth Preference category of visas, hence, "EB-5."

Taylor Megrel (Master of Ceremonies) is a Senior Consultant at International Consultors. His roles include providing an array of services including research, executive education, leadership development, decision support tools, and consulting for mid-sized companies entering foreign markets. Previously, Mr. Megrel was the Managing Partner at International Outsourcing Services and a General Manager at Bayindir Holding Group of Companies.

Timur Edib is a third generation Turkish American, and has been practicing immigration law, with a focus on business immigration, for almost 20 years in Washington, D.C. Mr. Edib earned his MPA: Public Policy from Arizona State University and his J.DL Business from the University of Baltimore School of Law. Mr. Edib has been a leader in the Turkish American community for 30 years, serving as President or Board Member to: Ataturk Society of America, TAA of Arizona, ATA-DC, ATAA Treasurer, Maryland ATA, TAA of Central Pennsylvania, TAFSUS, Business Forum-DC Chapter, and has served as legal counsel to Turkish American Scientists and Scholars Association and BAU International University for USA operations. Mr. Edib served as Co-Chair of Immigration Section of his local bar association and was an active ember of AILA for over 10 years.

Giacomo Jacques Behar is an immigration lawyer licensed in California.
