Soner Gedik Nominated Doğan Holding Ceo

Soner Gedik has been nominated as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Doğan Holding. Doğan Holding President Begümhan Doğan Faralyalı made the following statement on Gedik's nomination:

"Yahya Üzdiyen, who has been serving Doğan Holding at high level positions for 20 years, left his positions of Doğan Holding Chief Executive Officer and Managing Member of the Board of Directors where he has been positioned since 2012, as of January 5, 2016. Mr. Üzdiyen will continue to be serving as Board Member of some Group companies. I thank to Mr. Üzdiyen for his contributions to the company during his positions of Doğan Holding Chief Executive Officer and Managing Member of the Board of Directors and I want to stress my belief for continuation of his success at his ongoing positions in the Group. Mr. Gedik will take over the portfolio as of January 5, 2016 and start at his new positions of Doğan Holding Chief Executive Officer and Managing Member of the Board of Directors. I believe Mr. Gedik, who had taken responsibilities in our Group companies and Holding at high level positions, after starting his career in private sector in 1987 by joining Hürriyet, following his positions in the public sector, will add value to the re-growing process of our Group by creating synergy and team work.
