Minister Eroğlu: "We Have Planted 257 Thousand Saplings By The End Of 2015"

– The Ministry of Forestry and Water Affairs General Directorate of Forestry Boztepe Recai Kutan Basin has transformed into a forest with the works conducted. Minister of Forestry and Water Affairs Veysel Eroğlu said, "By the end of 2015, we have planted 257 thousand saplings in the basin."

The basin has started to retain water in 2012, the ministry has conducted a plantation work in order to prevent sediment filling in the basin after a probable erosion. Soil conservation works has been conducted on a 5500 decares of field and rehabilitation works conducted on 8400 decares of field.
