94th Anniversary Of Salvation Of Foça Celebrated
– 94th anniversary of Salvation of Foça, Aegean coastal district of Izmir, was celebrated.Celebrations started with wreath laying on Atatürk Monumnet in Republic Square. Continuing celebrations were participated by Foça District Governor Niyazi Ulugölge, Foça Mayor Gükhan Demirağ, Foça Garrison Commander Rear Admiral Aydın Şirin, city counselors adn Atatürk look alike actor Göksel Kaya.Speaking in the ceremony Foça Mayor Gökhan Demirağ said, "We promise our Commander in Chief that we will raise and entrust this homeland to contemporary, civil and independent generations to come. I commemorate Atatürk with gratitude.

In the daytime organisation, students read poems, Foça Municipality classical dance, handicapped dance and folk dance teams and tae kwon do athletes from Foça Municipality Sports Club have performed.
Nighttime celebrations will be completed with torchlight procession and Türksih Folk Music concert in Beşkapılar Castle.
